It is nothing to be ashamed of, I doubt more than 10% of Alec Hardison's facial expressions overlap with Voodoo's. I don't think we ever saw Voodoo's teeth, for he never smiled nor laughed, and Alec is like a geeky, snarky puppy, often grinning and laughing adorably. So it's quite understandable! : )

Not the first time something like this has happened to me- it took me seven episodes of Merlin and googling the guy before I realised that Uther is played by the same actor as Giles on Buffy.

I just watched Imagine Me & You and the actor who played Giles was in it and while I recognized him immediately, he has some chameleon properties for sure. Plus in Merlin it appears he's playing against type, so there are just all sorts of excuses for you! One it took me a long time to get was Leighton Meester in Gossip Girl. It took me most of the first season to realize she also played Carrie Bishop on Veronica Mars.

I didn't know he was in Imagine Me & You. But then again, I've never seen that movie, so. I guess I can use that as my excuse. I'm ridiculously bad when it comes to movies and actors. Major fail, y. Oh, well.

I really adore Aldis Hodge, yes! From the few interviews I've seen, he is a delightfully happy individual. And he plays Hardison so geekily awesome, with great comedic timing. So much love!
